Deepest condolences on the loss of Greg. We hung out often at Diamond 8 and had a lot of good times. He was a genuine person and a hard worker but he knew how to keep it real and bring positive energy anywhere. The world lost another person but I am glad to have known him. Rest in Peace my friend.

Greg and I attended Blue Creek school together, starting in the same kindergarten class. I still remember, as we moved through the grades, him barely fitting in those tiny chairs and desks because he was so tall. I ran into him many years after high school and he was still the same kind, friendly and gentle soul I had always remembered. I am very shocked and saddened to hear of his loss. May peace and healing be with his family and friends as they navigate through this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to the family of Greg. I met him on the trail Saturday morning and shared many stories with him. Once we found out we were both raised in Latham, me attending Forts Ferry and him Blue Creek it was almost like we were old buddies. Definitely a person I would have a beer and burger with and totally enjoy the conversation we would have. I had every intention to go say hi to him at Price Chopper on my way back home. When I met him he was happy to be where he was, happy to be what he was doing and happy to meet all the people he did along the trail. Really a friendly and outgoing person. I’m so sorry for your loss.
